Background :
Born in Faro - Portugal, João Henrique Monteiro completed his degree in architecture at the University of Porto in 2005, including a year of exchange at the University of Brandenburg, in Germany. He collaborated in architecture offices in Porto and Faro, having worked with the licensing of private works at the Municipality of Loulé until 2016.
In 2018 he completed a master's degree in Design and Construction Project Management at Chalmers Technical University in Gothenburg, Sweden. Also in Gothenburg, he collaborated professionally for two more years, where he developed skills in BIM (Building Information Modelling).
In 2021, he started his activity as an entrepreneurial architect by creating hArq with the aim of providing architectural services and consultancy. Lover of nature, sports and outdoor activities, he currently lives in Portugal and in Finland.
